The choice of a tank-type or tankless water heater is totally up to you. If you have a gas water heater, I would recommend tankless, whereas if you have electric, it’s really a matter of preference.

One of the biggest pros of a tankless water heater is that it’s going to last twice as long as a tank-type. That’s a big long-term saving.

Beyond that, with tankless, you’re going to pretty much have unlimited hot water. And they’re way more efficient than tank-type water heaters, so that’s another saving.

As tank-type water heaters get older, they have the possibility of bursting. If it’s in your attic, that can cause a lot of water damage. You’re never going to have that issue with a tankless water heater.

The pro of tank-type water heaters would be that if you have gas, and your electricity goes out, you’re still going to have hot water. You won’t have that with a tankless. That’s pretty much the only pro of a tank-type.

When you need a water heater replacement, we are going to offer you every option available and tell you the pros and cons. We don’t care which one you pick. As long as you’re happy, we’re happy.
