As long as you have a professional that installs it correctly, you can have many, many years of care-free ownership.
Currently, one of the brands we kind of align ourselves with is Daikin. Daikin is a Japanese company that’s been around for 98 years. They came over to the States a couple of years ago and currently have about 65% of the market in the U.S.
What we really like about Daikin is they make it really easy for us to work with them. When we have a supplier that we can work easily with, we can pass that on to our homeowners.
Another thing that makes Daikin fantastic is that they are one of the only companies out there that offer you a 12-year parts and labor warranty. That is huge. As long as the system was installed correctly and you get your regular maintenance, you’re not paying any money out of pocket for 12 years.
I don’t know any other brand that’s out there doing that. If they give you 12-year parts and labor warranty, I’d say they stand behind the product, right? That’s confidence in what they are offering. So yeah, Daikin’s awesome.
